Funding for dev. team
The 20% tax will be used for a mix of the following.
1. Bounties to build financial infrastructure such as exchanges, companies, banks, funds etc.
2. Develop the coin so that there will always be new features. When the last time Bitcoin or any other alt-coin had a major feature update? Never!
3. Advertising campaigns and Giveaways to increase adoption
4. Bounties to companies that start accepting Globe
5. Donating to charities and foundations.
Reserve Fortress – 5% of tax (already operational)
The dev. team will under no circumstances access these funds.
The Reserve fortress is a reserve made up of the following commodities:
• Bitcoin & (Gold in far future) – 65%
• Litecoin & (Silver In far future) – 35%
Commodities and coins used in the Reserve Fortress will never be sold!
Price Stabilization Mechanism – 5% of tax (Will be used under discretion by discretion of dev team may be automated in future if demanded)
One of the biggest reasons why Bitcoin cannot be used as an everyday currency is due to the wild price fluctuations. The price stabilization mechanism and inflation will prevent this.
1. 65% of this tax will be converted into fiat currencies such as USD & EUR (when an exchange starts trading Globe in fiat currencies) the remainder will stay in Globe and Bitcoin form.
2. If Globes value rises or decreases very fast (generally 20% in under 24 hours) the dev. team will sell an appropriate amount of currency to ease the volatility. E.g. if Globe price falls very low, very fast Bitcoins and fiat currencies will be sold to ease effects. Due to the inflation Globe is likely to be much more stable even without this feature.
